Can I use FluxPulse for free?

Yes! The free tier includes 5 monitored servers with 7-day metric retention. Upgrade anytime.

What do you charge for?

Per-monitored-host billing. Check pricing for tiers and volume discounts.

Can I switch plans?

Yes, anytime. Upgrade or downgrade in SettingsBilling. Changes take effect immediately.

Do you offer volume discounts?

Yes. Contact sales@fluxpulse.app for pricing on 100+ hosts.

What does the agent send back to FluxPulse?

Only system metrics (CPU, memory, disk, network %) and service status. No application data, logs, or sensitive files. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Is my data encrypted?

Yes. In transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest (AES-256).

Can I run agents on VMs, containers, or cloud instances?

Yes! Linux agents work on any Linux VM (AWS EC2, Azure, GCP, etc.). Windows and macOS agents work the same way.

What if I lose internet temporarily?

The agent queues metrics locally and sends them when reconnected. No data loss.

How far back can I see metrics?

  • Free/Starter: 7 days
  • Professional: 90 days
  • Enterprise: Custom (up to 2 years)

Do I need an agent per server?

Yes, one agent per host. The agent is lightweight (<10 MB RAM).

Can I install the agent without sudo?

The installer needs root/admin to create system services. Run as sudo on Linux/macOS, or as Administrator on Windows.

What if I can’t run sudo on a host?

Contact support@fluxpulse.app. We can help with restricted environments.

Can I update the agent automatically?

Not yet. We recommend monthly manual updates. Automatic updates are on the roadmap.

How often are metrics updated?

Every 30 seconds.

Can I set custom alert thresholds?

Coming soon with the Helpdesk pillar (Q3 2025).

Where can alerts be sent?

Also coming soon: Slack, Teams, PagerDuty, email, webhooks.

How do I invite team members?

Go to SettingsUsersInvite User. Pick their role (Owner, Operator, Viewer).

What’s the difference between roles?

  • Owner — Full access, can invite users, manage billing
  • Operator — Can view metrics, manage agents, acknowledge alerts
  • Viewer — Read-only access to dashboards and metrics

Can I have multiple owners?

Yes, as many as you need.

Where is my data stored?

On Azure servers. We don’t sell or share data.

Can I export metrics?

Manual export coming soon. Contact support@fluxpulse.app for custom export options.
